Want ("the app", "we", "us") helps you track movies and TV shows you want to watch and have watched. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Want is operated by Ihor Zubenko, an individual entrepreneur (ФОП). Contact: support@want.watch.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and, if you use Google or Apple sign-in, the basic profile identifier those providers return. Apple's "Hide My Email" relay address is supported.
• Profile data — username, optional display name, bio, avatar, and links you choose to add.
• Activity data — the movies and shows you mark as Want or Watched, your ratings, reviews, comments, collections, follows, and episode progress.
• Technical data — basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide core features: tracking, reviews, collections, social feed, and search.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To improve reliability and performance.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run Want:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• The Movie Database (TMDB) — movie and TV metadata. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• Google and Apple — optional single sign-on.
• Cloudflare / Vercel — domain and web hosting.

Public content

Reviews, ratings, comments, collections, and public profiles may be visible to other users by design. You can make your profile private in settings.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see Account Deletion.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

Want is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
